Language Arts: The 4th graders took the Writing MEAP test today. This concludes our testing for 3rd and 4th grade
Math: (3rd) Finished lesson 2.9 and Went over the review (4th) Timed tests and challenge packet
Co-curricular class was P.E and Eng. Tech

Goal setting letter (Set your goals and return the letter by October 29th)
All October book orders were delivered to the students yesterday. Some students are still waiting for their 'Pre-order' edition of Diary of a Wimpy Kid

3rd: 20 mins
4th: 30 mins

Attention 4th graders! The Battle of The Books  launch date for this year’s Battle books is October 25th

Math
3rd - H.L. 2.9 Study from your review. You may turn in your review tomorrow or Friday. Unit 2 test is Friday
Take the timed subtraction #2 and timed addition #2 quizzes. Due Friday October 29th

How to take the online math tests:
Go to Frequently Visited Places
Click on thatquiz.org (for 3rd grade math students)
Click on your name and use your school password to log in and take the assigned tests.

3rd Grade End of year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins

4th – No S.L.  Please bring a ziplock baggie to school tomorrow. Geo Museum due date has been extended to Monday Oct 25th

Science
Go to your group's 'Sound' wiki page (It is linked at the side of this blog) At home, each group member should take notes to plan your group's paragraph.

The title/prompt is: How Does the Ear Work?

Go to your group’s Sound page. Click Edit Page (top right hand corner) Scroll down to the lesson and type your notes in a separate box in the organizer. Remember- click in the small box. Type your name first. The box will stretch as you type in it. You may NOT copy text from another partner. You must write your own idea in each cell. Due Friday October 22nd
