A BIG THANK YOU to all the parents who organized, contributed, baked and came by to join in with the Halloween fun today! It was a great party! The students and I are very greatful and appreciate all you did to make the party so much fun!

Math: (3rd) Halloween graphing Math (4th) Halloween Math
Science: Completed end of unit Moodle tests for Sound.

How to take the online math tests:
Go to Frequently Visited Places
Click on thatquiz.org (for 3rd grade math students)
Click on your name and use your school password to log in and take the assigned tests.

3rd Grade End of year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 50 addition/50 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 100 division/ multiplication facts in 5 mins

Science
Go to your group's 'Sound' wiki page (It is linked at the side of this blog) At home, each group member should take notes to plan your group's paragraph.

The title/prompt is: How Does the Ear Work?

Go to your group’s Sound page. Click Edit Page (top right hand corner) Scroll down to the lesson and type your notes in a separate box in the organizer. Remember- click in the small box. Type your name first. The box will stretch as you type in it. You may NOT copy text from another partner. You must write your own idea in each cell. Due Friday October 29th
