It was so nice to be back and to see everyone today after the long Holiday break!

Language Arts: Finished Helen Keller reading responses on the Wiki. We also visited the media center to check out books.

Math: (3rd) Lesson 5.6  (4th) Lesson 5.10

Special Note: Thank you for collecting the 2 ltr. bottles! We are now all set to begin building the insect  habitats. If there are any willing and able parents to help with the cutting the bottles and assembling them into the habitats, please let me know. The students and I would be very grateful :)

Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins

4^th Grade End of year fact expectations:

Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 50 addition/50 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 100 division/ multiplication facts in 5 mins

4th – No S.L . Unit 5 review was due Friday Dec 17^th. Test is Jan 4th

Science: Parent voluteers needed for cutting and assembling the insect habitats.
