Mail: Our fieldtrip to the Detroit Science center is FRIDAY FEBRUARY 11th
The chaperones for this fieldtrip are: Mr. Curran, Mrs. Chisholm. Mrs. Walkotten, Mr. Diehl, Mrs. Tanushi, Mrs. McNally, Mrs. Henricks and Mrs. Kohl. Thank you so much for volunteering!

READING TO WAIKIKI was launched on Monday! Can we read enough miles to reach tropical beaches of Waikiki, which is 4,500 miles away? Don’t forget fill in your reading coupon, cut it out and return it for the first count day – January 24th!
3rd: (100 weekly minutes of reading = 50 Frequent flyer miles)
4th: (150 weekly reading minutes = 50 Frequent flyer miles)

Go to Frequently Visited Places
Click on thatquiz.org (for 3rd grade math students)
Click on your name and use your school password to log in and take the assigned tests.

3rd Grade End of year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade End of year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 50 addition/50 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 100 division/ multiplication facts in 5 mins

4th  –No S.L.6.9 and 6.10 No J. page. Angles project due Jan 28th Study for Friday’s test.

Science: Check your group wiki page postings

Language Arts:  Biography book to be read by January 28th. Have a parent sign your yellow letter. Complete the biography note paper – All due January 28th

Social Studies: Social Science Artifacts Picture upload as a j.pg Then write some sentences to explain how they represent a Historian, Geographer, Economist and Political Scientist. Post your picture and descriptions on your social studies wiki page. Go to Regions. Type your first name and the title. Click Link. Save. Click on your new link and upload you picture. Due Monday January 24th
