READING TO WAIKIKI UPDATE – Our class has currently read a total of 1,700 miles
Can we read enough miles to reach tropical beaches of Waikiki, which is 4,500 miles away? Don’t forget fill in your reading coupon, cut it out and return it for the next count day – January 31st!
3rd: (100 weekly minutes of reading = 50 Frequent flyer miles)
4th: (150 weekly reading minutes = 50 Frequent flyer miles)

3rd Grade End of year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade End of year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 50 addition/50 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 100 division/ multiplication facts in 5 mins

Social Studies: Social Science Artifacts Picture upload as a j.pg. Then, write some sentences to explain how they represent a Historian, Geographer, Economist and Political Scientist. Post your picture and explanations on your social studies wiki page. Go to Regions. Type your first name and the title. Click Link. Save. Click on your new link and upload you picture. Due Monday January 24th

Progress Check: Read the lists and choose a list to challenge yourself (your might want to choose the list with words that you think you will use in your writing)
Have a parent sign your paper. Play 3 or more spelling games on spellingcity AND complete the Moodle definitions quiz. Print it and attach it to your spelling list paper.
