Happy Valentines Day!

The Kids Against Hunger Food drive for the City Mission in Detroit. Final day to donate is TODAY MONDAY FEBRUARY 14th.
Please donate any of the following food items; Fruit and cereal bars, individual applesausce packs, fruitcups, cheese and peanut butter crackers, pretzels, goldfish, canned tuna, canned chicken, or any boxed cereals. the boxes for these item are in the 3/4 info port in the main hallway. Thank you!

The Valentines party was today February 14th (12:45pm -1:30pm.) The students had a lot of fun making a Valentines tissue flower. They decorated a collection bag, swapped their valentines and enjoyed a cookie with water. Thank you to the parents who supplied the cookies/treats (Mrs. Diehl, Mrs. Baughman and Mrs. Chisholm) the paper products (Mrs. Krause) and the water (Mrs. McNally.) Also, thanks to Mr. Lynch for being our class photographer once again :)

How to take the online math tests:
Check www.thatquiz.org on my blog (see below) or, check the link that has been sent to you via your school email. Or, go to Frequently Visited Places. Click on thatquiz.org (for 3rd grade math students)
Click on your name and use your school password to log in and take the assigned tests.

3rd Grade End of Year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins

4th Grade End of Year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 50 addition/50 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 100 division/ multiplication facts in 5 mins

4th Math: No S.L.

Science: Check your group’s lifecycles wiki page postings

Language Arts: None

Spelling: List #5 due Monday February 28th
Progress Check: Read the lists and choose a list to challenge yourself (You might want to choose the list with words that you think you will use in your writing)
Have a parent sign your paper. Play 3 or more spelling games on spelling city AND complete the Moodle definitions quiz. Print it and attach it to your spelling list paper. Due Feb. 28th

Social Studies: Learn the names and location of the 50 states due date March 9th
