Co-curricular class: None today due to our fieldtrip
Our fieldtrip to the Detroit Historical Museum was both fun and educational. Our docent commented on how much information the students already knew...a nice compliment! Thank you so much to the chaperones who joined us today! We could have enjoyed it without you!

Reading:
3rd: 20 mins – 100 mins Reading to the Superbowl. 1st collection of minutes/yards is Tuesday January 17th
4th: 30 mins – 150 mins Reading to the Superbowl. 1st collection of minutes/yards is Tuesday January 17th
DON’T FORGET TO HAVE A PARENT SIGN THE READING COUPON AT THE END OF TGE WEEK!
Parents, please initial at the bottom of each day’s planner entry, so that I know your child is completing their nightly required reading.

Spelling: Spellingcity homework due next Friday January 20th
Follow the directions on the spelling letter. You will take your test in class on Jan. 20th

Language Arts: Watch the uploading paragraph movie on the blog

Math:
4th Math: No S.L. No J. Pages. Math packet due Tuesday 1/17.
IXL 30 mins twice a week (or 1 hour each week)

3rd Math – H. L 5.9 Please keep your Home Link book inside your binder!
Thatquiz: Multiplication #2 (timed) and Rounding #1 (not timed) due Monday 1/16 (MLK day!)
IXL: Practice any skills for 15mins. Twice a week (30 mins each week)
Multiplication fact practice: 5 mins every night!

NB: Starting with Unit 5 there will be points/credit given for turning in a completed and signed review by the test date.

Science: Update all outstanding lesson responses for Lesson 1, 2 and 3.

Social Studies:
Vocabulary paper # 2: Please take a look over this list of words relating to our Communities unit and begin defining and explaining the words to a parent. (Please note- this is not for grading purposes right now)
