MEAP testing started today 10/9 –Thursday 10/11 And next week - Tues 10/16 -Wed 10/17
Parents - Please avoid making appointments for your children during the testing window.
Students:
*Go to bed early the night before your tests,
*Eat a good breakfast before school and
*Bring plenty of snacks to eat
***You will be testing in the AM and PM on Tuesday and Thursday.***

P.E is on Mondays (12:15) and Fridays (8:35am) Remember to wear Gym shoes!

Language Arts: Continue with your Razz Kids reading. Teacher username is lparkina
Read at least 20 minutes (3rd graders) or 30 minutes (4th graders) after school each day. Raz-Kids reading can be used for this time

3rd Grade Math: No H.L or J.page

·         Thatquiz.org – Due Wednesday 10/3 Complete the timed tests (Addition, Subtraction and Multiplication)
-To get to thatquiz.org  click on the link under Frequently Visited Places:
-Click on your name
-Type in your school password (no username needed)
-Position one hand over the numbers on your keyboard and the other hand to click Enter or Submit with the mouse.
You can set up your own practice quizzes on thatquiz.org. You do not log in to set up practice quizzes. Just click the area you would like to study. Click on the no. of question, the level, the timing settings you want to test, and click create
·         IXL - 10 mins in the Time section for 3rd grade by Friday. If time section is complete 10 mins free choice in any section
·         Quizstar – Test result page to complete with a parent, sign and return. Due Friday 10/12

4th Grade Math:

Students received their Choice Hour selection sheets on Friday. (If you don't have yours, please check your mailbox, students!) Our class is entering a choice hour movie contest! We really want you to help us win by returning your selection sheet on ASAP! If payment is required, please attach it to the form.

Important Reminders:
• School starts at 8:20am. Students should be in their homeroom seat by this time.
• Please bring 3 sharp pencils to class every day.
• Bring a water bottle and two healthy snacks every day.
• Bring a chapter book every day.
