Our fieldtrip to Forgotten Harvest was extremely enjoyable and a great experience. The students learned about the facility during a tour and packed meat snacks into small baggies, labeled and boxed them to be shipped to various places around the community. Movie highlights will be uploaded to our ‘Movie page’ shortly! Thank so much to everyone who was able to drive the students today. We couldn’t do it without you!

Language Arts:
Reading to Waikiki incentive has begun. Make sure you have shown your letter to your parent. We need to travel 4,500 miles to reach the beautiful island of Waikiki.
- 4th graders need to read 150 mins to travel 100 miles.
- 3rd graders need to read 100 mins to travel 100 miles.
The dates we will collect your signed reading coupons are: Tuesday 1/22, Monday 1/28, Mon 2/4 and finally, Fri 2/8.
Read at least 20 minutes (3rd graders) or 30 minutes (4th graders) after school each day. Raz-Kids reading can be used for this time. Raz-Kids reading teacher username is lparkina
Spelling: Spellingcity.com homework and test is 2/12/13

If you made 5 or more errors on your test today, you have a printout that needs to be signed by your parent. Please return it to school tomorrow.

Click Games and Complete 5 mandatory game activities and 2 optional activities from the list on your spelling letter. Check off the activities as you complete them.
Make sure you use all the words in your spelling list when you play each game. The games will not register if you do not use all your spelling words.
Turn in the spelling letter on 2/12/13 The test will be taken in class on 2/12/13 You will need your ear buds or headphones for testing in class.
