Late Start tomorrow! - Students report at 9:50am

Parkin’s ClassValentines Exchange - Thursday 2/14
To celebrate Valentine’s Day next Thursday students may bring in Valentine’s Day cards to give to their classmates. Please make sure you have a card for each classmate. (There are 27 students altogether – And 1 teacher J) If you have a box that you would like to bring in to collect all you cards, please do so on Thursday. If not, you will have a large envelope to decorate and use.
*Please do not write your classmates names on each Valentine card. If you want to write on your cards, simply write, ‘To my classmate’ and ‘from’ (Your name.) Or, just leave them blank.  That way you can deliver your cards quickly and start enjoying your Valentines treat.

BCS BLAST 2013!
Donations towards our class basket are now being collected in Mrs. Parkin’s room!
Please donate by February 14th.
Our theme for the Parkin class basket this year is, "Blasting Off in the B-Gifts and Gift Cards from Birmingham and Bloomfield.
“…The basket is designed to provide actual gift items and/or gift cards from any retailers/restaurants in Birmingham and Bloomfield.  For example, gift cards to the Palladium movie theater, Jax car wash, Bloomfield Sports Shop or actual items like a bottle of wine from Plum market or a fun gift from Olivers Trendz.  If you don't have time to shop for an item please consider contributing cash and the room parents will shop for gifts or gift cards from places that we don't already have items from.”
Last year, the Parkin class basket was one of the highest bid-on baskets in the school (raising over $400)-We'd love to exceed that amount this year! Thanks in advance for all your support!
