Language Arts:
Read after school each day! Thank you for the books purchased for our classroom library. We previewed them today and the students and I appreciate your generosity!

Character Ed: Students started presenting to the class today.
Using Glogster.edu or PowerPoint create a poster - due 3/28 Embed or upload the file to your Goal setting wiki page (in your student portfolio.)
Create a poster showing how you and your classmates should display/show one of the following traits that we have discussed in class during ‘huddle time’: Accountability, or Integrity, or Kindness
Paragraph practice: None
Spelling: Please show your parent your result by going to ‘My Records’ on your Spellingcity account.

Scroll to bottom of page to locate your spelling list code. Click on your code.
Click Games and Complete 5 mandatory game activities and 2 optional activities from the list on your spelling letter. Check off the activities as you complete them.
Make sure you use all the words in your spelling list when you play each game. The games will not register if you do not use all your spelling words.
Turn in the spelling letter by the due date. Don’t forget -You will need your ear buds or headphones for testing in class.

-Click on your name
-Type in your school password (no username needed)
-Position one hand over the numbers on your keyboard and the other hand to click Enter or Submit with the mouse.
You can set up your own practice quizzes on thatquiz.org. You do not log in to set up practice quizzes. Just click the area you would like to study. Click on the no. of question, the level, the timing settings you want to test, and click create
4th Grade Math:
Watch the mathematics videos on blog.
Social Studies: Midwest Regions Map review and Quiz due 4/8/13 – Name all the States and the Capitals of the Midwest region
Students began presenting their Southeast Glogster poster or PowerPoints.
Remember to include the three themes studied: Historical change, Sounds of the S.E and Geography of the region.

Did you know…YOU can submit photographs for the yearbook!? Go to www.replayit.com and register for free with your own unique user id and password. Choose Birmingham Covington School and upload your photographs! It's that easy! There is even a free iPhone app that sends photos from your iPhone! The Yearbook team would greatly appreciate any pictures you and your parents think are appropriate to include in the yearbook!
