Happy First Day!

What an excellent start to the year! Today was filled with getting to know you games and activities to help our new students feel comfortable. Students were readily helping each other with their lockers, including each other during outdoor snack time, and sharing info about their interests, hobbies, family and summer adventures.

Tomorrow, students will experience a more 'regular' morning without needing to bring in supplies. Before 8am students go to the cafeteria. They can read, talk quietly or play on their device. At 8am they may go to their locker and unpack their binder and lunch box. Then, sit quietly outside the classroom. The classroom door will open at 8:18am

Homework:
Please look for a reading book to bring to school tomorrow. If you don't have one to bring in, you may choose one from our classroom library.

Tell a parent at least one new thing you learned about you classmates or teacher (hint - you can use your word search and/or The Teacher Comes Clean paper to help you)
