Your child will know their spelling sort: Within Word (WW) sort 11, Syllables & Affixes (SA) sort 10 or sort 18, Derivational Relations (DR) sort 2 or sort 16. They wrote their sort on their Word Study paper (at the top.)
Homework: Complete 6 activities on Spellingcity.com and return the signed spelling letter on Monday 12/11. Please read the letter and follow the directions. Locate your list on spellingcity.com by clicking the red drop down arrow for your spelling sort code. Play the games under the tabs to help you learn the spelling patterns for these words. You can check which word study activities you have completed by clicking on ‘My Records’ after you log in. Remember – DO NOT click S-test on spellingcity.org. Save that button for the day of your test.

They may be completed or cut out and used as optional, additional fact practice if you'd like. You could use these pages to test yourself with how fast your x fact recall is or just to do some flash card recall practice at home.
