Happy Monday! We read the first 3 chapters of our community read book. We will continue to read the book in class. Students can bring the book home, but need to return it each day so that they can follow along with the audio in class. We continued with social studies and discussed the four social sciences (Economist, Geographer, Historian, and Political Scientist) Co-curricular class today was Spanish

(Bring in a chapter book to read in class. You will keep your book inside your binder)

3rd grade - No H/R
Finish today's lesson 1-3 on page 22 in your math journal (if you did not finish in class) This book is in your child's binder and should be returned to school every day.
Social Studies
Which Social Scientist did you pick to complete one activity? Due Friday 9/16
Choose from Economist, Geographer, Political Scientist, or Historian. Write your response on the back of your paper. (Historians may make a separate timeline if they wish)

(Mr. Wallington and I will present a short summary of the curriculum and explain the routines and organization that your child will experience and practice this year. Then, Dr. Hakim and Mr. Hill will present the co-curricular areas at BCS)
