Happy Thursday!

Please note - No school tomorrow (Friday 9/1 and Monday 9/4 for the Labor Day Holiday)

Today was a great day! After our Town Hall meeting first thing this morning we switched to math and played a game of, "Figure Me Out!" The students learned a little bit about me by solving number problems. Then, they got to create their own Figure Me Out mini posters that we'll share in class. We finished our All About Me posters for our classroom and read a sad story about the importance of Kindness (Each Kindness by Jacqueline Woodson) Students went to Engage and Spanish for co-curricular today.

Homework
3rd graders - Read 20 mins (minimum) each night

4th graders - Read 30 mins (minimum) each night

(Bring in a chapter book to read in class. You will keep your book inside your binder)

Language Arts 

Decorate your writer's Notebook - due Wednesday, Sept. 6th. Directions and notebooks were sent home in the blue Take Home folder
