Fieldtrip to Detroit Science Center is this Friday February 11th Please bring a bag lunch with you.

We will board the busses at 9:15am arriving at approx 10am at The Detroit Science Center. We should be back at BCS at 1:30pm.

Check www.thatquiz.org on my blog (see below) or, check the link that has been sent to you via your school email. Or, go to Frequently Visited Places. Click on thatquiz.org (for 3rd grade math students)
Click on your name and use your school password to log in and take the assigned tests.
3rd Grade End of year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 30 addition/30 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 50 division/50 multiplication facts in 3 mins
4th Grade End of year fact expectations:
Students should have quick mental recall of the following number of facts by the end of the year: 50 addition/50 subtraction facts in 2 mins and 100 division/ multiplication facts in 5 mins

The Valentines party is Monday February 14th. This is a low key event in the classroom. Parents are always welcome to attend if they wish. The students will decorate a collection bag, swap their valentines and enjoy a cookie with water. Thank you in advance to our parent volunteers who signed up to supply the cookie/treats, the paper products and water for the day
