I was out of the classroom to administer student reading testing today.

Remember…Swimming on Mondays (12:15) and Fridays (8:35am) Don’t forget your swim kit!
NO SWIMMING ON MONDAY DUE TO NATURE CENTER FIELDTRIP

Monday October 1st - Wallington and Parkin @ Bloomfield Hills Nature Center
Depart BCS at 12:10 (right after lunch) Arriving back at BCS at 2:30pm.
We will be working outside and around the nature center grounds for part of the visit.
Please bring coats, hats, gloves in case the weather is cold/wet and wear outdoor footwear.

Subjects taught today:
Lang. Arts - Reader’s Workshop /Grammar study
Math – IXL Exploration (Fire Drill took place during math time today)
Co curricular class: Swimming
Social Studies – None

ONLINE SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDERS WERE SUBMITTED AND SHOULD EXPECT DELIVERY TO BCS MIDDLE/END OF NEXT WEEK
Here is what we have for you today:
Language Arts: Continue with your Razz Kids reading. Read/Record/Quiz.

Aim, to read one book each week. Your Raz-Kids reading can be all or part of your 20/30 min nightly reading requirement. Teacher username is lparkina
Read at least 20 minutes (3rd graders) or 30 minutes (4th graders) after school each day

3rd Grade Math:
H.L 1.14 Read the Family letter All Unit 1 J.pgs  (if not completed in class) except Sunrise/Sunset chart
IXL practice for 10 mins by Friday, each week. (If you need the weekend, please let me know) Work in the Time section for 3rd grade. If that is complete 10 mins free choice in any section
 
4th Grade Math: (please check your planner for today's new S.Link)
S.L 2.3 J. pgs for lesson 2.3
Thatquiz.org due Monday

• School starts at 8:20am. Students should be in their homeroom seat by this time.
• Please bring 3 sharp pencils to class every day.
• Bring a water bottle and two healthy snacks every day.
• Bring a chapter book every day.

1st Marking Period (Parkin’s class has swimming on Monday and Friday)
Tuesday, September 4 through Friday, September 28: Frishman, Seley, Maliszewski, and Wallington will be in the GYM.
Butzin, Davis, Harvath, and Parkin will SWIM
