It was a busy morning of organization, introductions, and fun!
Each student now has a blue "Take Home" folder, which stays inside their binder for work papers/mail coming home from school. Please empty papers from your blue folder at home every time there are any papers in there! Today, there is a 'Find Your Classmates' word search and other papers that were completed this morning. They can finish them at home for fun if they would like to!
P.E. starts tomorrow, (Tuesdays and Fridays) so you will need gym shoes. The schedule for the year is inside the blue folder. It is also linked on this blog on the right side, under the followers. Please add yourself to the list of followers if you would like to follow this blog.
Choice Hour begins tomorrow. Each student will be given their schedule tomorrow. Fourth graders will be escorting their 3rd-grade buddies to each choice hour room for the first 2 weeks. If you would like to drop, join, or change a class please email Mrs. Bassett at: cbassett@birmingham.k12.mi.us
Students and staff help everyone to find their bus at the end of the school day. Busses line up on the playground. It is helpful if students know their bus numbers, but we have a list in case they forget or don't know it! So don't worry!
If you are not staying at school for a Choice hour, parent pick-up is at 3:20 pm at the front of the school.
School lunch starts tomorrow. Remember to pack a morning snack (nut-free, if possible) and a water bottle for class. Looking forward to tomorrow's full day.
