Happy Wednesday! We had a great day today. The students all started taking their diagnostic Reading and Math tests on the computer. Some finished their test today! This new program
Tomorrow night, Thursday, Sept. 15th is the 3/4 Curriculum Night 6pm-8pm. If you have a schedule conflict and cannot make it please do not worry! We will send a paper copy of the presentation home with your child.
6:00 - 6:30 pm PTA Meet and Greet
6:30 - 7:00 pm in Mr. Wallington's classroom (room 205,) Mr. Wallington and I will present a short summary of the curriculum and explain the routines and organization that your child will experience and practice this year.
7:00 - 8:00pm Dr. Hakim and Mr. Hill will present in the media center
The following assignments should be written in your child's planner, which is inside their zipper binder. Parents, please use this blog to 'cross-check' with your child's planner. They should be completing their planner every day in class.

3rd graders - Read 20 mins (minimum) each night
4th graders - Read 30 mins (minimum) each night
(Bring in a chapter book to read in class. You will keep your book inside your binder)

3rd Graders started their IReady Math Diagnostic test today. They will finish it on Friday
