We are looking forward to seeing parents at the 3/4 Curriculum Night tonight 6pm-8pm

If you have a schedule conflict and cannot make it tonight, please do not worry! We will send a paper copy of the presentation home with your child. 

6:00 - 6:30 pm PTA Meet and Greet

6:30 - 7:00 pm in Mr. Wallington's classroom (room 205,) Mr. Wallington and I will present a short summary of the curriculum and explain the routines and organization that your child will experience and practice this year. 

7:00 - 8:00pm Dr. Hakim and Mr. Hill will present in the media center

The following assignments should be written in your child's planner, which is inside their zipper binder  Parents, please use this blog to 'cross-check' with your child's planner. They should be completing their planner every day in class.

Homework
3rd graders - Read 20 mins (minimum) each night

4th graders - Read 30 mins (minimum) each night

(Bring in a chapter book to read in class. You will keep your book inside your binder)

Language Arts 

None 

Math

4th Grade - (H/R) 1-3

3rd grade - Homework and Remembering (H/R) 1-4 This book is in your child's binder and should be returned to school every day. please check your email for information about the math journals and math sites that we will be using this year

Social Studies - Which Social Scientist did you pick to complete one activity? Due Friday 9/16

Choose from Economist, Geographer, Political Scientist, or Historian.  Write your response on the back of your paper. (Historians may make a separate timeline if they wish)
