Happy Friday Everyone! - Our first Friday of the year!
We had a great day today! After math, our class finished the iReady reading test. Then we read our first Scholastic News magazine. We began writing an "About the Author" paragraph in the writer's notebook. Co-curricular classes today were Eng. Tech and P.E
The following assignments should be written in your child's planner. Parents, please use this blog as a 'cross-check' to make sure your child is completing this very important task.
Picture Day is Monday (for students who didn't have their picture taken at registration)
Homework
3rd graders - Read 20 mins (minimum) each night

4th graders - Read 30 mins (minimum) each night
(Bring in a chapter book to read in class. You will keep your book inside your binder)
Language Arts
Talk About - What you included in your mini-autobiography today (About The Author page of your Writer's Notebook))
Math
4th Grade - Finish all Thatquiz assignments
3rd grade - Well done with XtraMath enrollment.

If you have a schedule conflict, please do not worry. We will send a paper copy of the presentation home with your child.
